I stopped wearing golf shoes last season. I wear Hoka One One Goatspeed GTX*. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn on the course, they have good traction, and are waterproof...having a Gore-Tex lining. In my experience I have found that without the Gore-Tex lining no golf shoe is really waterproof. I think Ecco is the only manufacturer that offers golf shoe with a GT lining.
*Not sure what a "Goatspeed" is, lol
Anything true links wear is amazing for sneaker feel. The OG has wide toe box and zero drop which are my jam. The others have more progressive drop and most have amazing waterproof. My favorite golf shoes for dry conditions are my vivo barefoots. If you want a close to barefoot and natural golf experience, I’d try this. Helped a lot with hip/back pain too.Alright, so I'm looking to walk more rounds in 2021, and want some feedback from those who have course tested shoes. Let me know which golf shoes you find that are most comfortable, but still perform in all conditions. Bonus point for pictures!
