Your Opening Tee Shot

I *usually* hit a good opening tee shot. Most of the courses I play regularly have limited practice ranges so I don't hit balls before a round.

I practice my opening tee shot when I go to my local range. Warm up swings with a weighted club, visual a hole and drive one like its the first tee. Seems to help

I seem to have developed a habit of pulling my first couple of shots, so I aim down the right side of the fairway and just try to put a smooth swing on it

At my home club, the worst thing about that is when I then hit a fade and end up in the thick rough, although it could be even worse and be OB so I don't complain when it finishes in the rough

If there’s time I’ll hit a few on the range.

I always make sure to stretch out on the first tee.

No breakfast balls for me, but ok if you want one. I take what the game gives me.

First drive will probably be a fade since I’m not super loose yet.

usually it's big smash out the gate, unless it's first tee of morgan cup. Then it's a 3/4 punch driver just to make contact. :ROFLMAO: 🤷‍♂️

Watching that gave me both goosebumps and the jitters just thinking about Oct. 😳
