My updated list. These are my favorite courses to play, not necessarily including overall experience and atmosphere.

1. Bay Hill
2. Kinderlou Forest
3. Karoo - Cabot Citrus Farms
4. Kiawah - Cougar Point
5. Kiawah - Ocean Course

Of the guys I've gone with the last 2 years it's their consensus least favorite. They all say because it's so hard whereas it's my favorite because for some reason I play it pretty well. 3 birdies there each year including a near ace last year
I can see that with how exposed it is. If you are playing in any wind, it has to be a BEAST. But I lucked out with incredible conditions, so its still #1 for me at Bandon.

Is a Rustic/Oak Quarry weekend realistic? Asking for a friend...
absolutely. I just checked Rustics tee times... 2 weeks to a month advance for a full 18. Oak Quarry... since that's a far drive for me, a month in advance would be ideal. But yeah, weekends for both no problems. If you mean both in one weekend, yep. 2 hour drive in between.

Whistling Straits
Lawsonia Links - Green Lake WI
University Ridge - Madison WI
Arbor Links
Golf Club of Houston
Take GCOH out and add Payne's Valley

Yeah, I meant same weekend as I'll have to fly down and play. Probably not happening this summer, but always looking for potential golf trips in it future and I LOVE Oak Quarry.

Good question - it was probably the most "fun" course I played in Scotland, with the multiple blind shots and gorgeous routing along the coast. Hole #10 still lives in my dreams - almost aced the hole (its a par 4, but I had the wind at my back and we were playing winter tees). My buddy took a shot of me on the tee - the target line was right of that pole.

If I could only play one course for the rest of my life, it would be Elie.

I played this morning Jumeirah Golf Estates - Earth (Dubai, UAE). It's my new #2 so everything else, slides down and Trump Dubai is out

In no order:

Bethpage Black
Troon (Scottsdale)
Desert Highlands
TPC Scottdale (stadium)
Desert Mountain (Renegade)

Torrey - North and South
Caledonia
Scottsdale National
TPC Scottsdale
Caves Vallley
The above is in no particular order and Tobbacco Road gets an honorable mention

If all goes well this month will revise to add Wynn, Shadow Creek and Cascata. 🤞
In sept adding Paynes Valley, Buffalo Ridge (played several times already) Top of the rock and all of the other par 3’s in Branson. Then in October Pebble, Spyglass and Spanish Bay. Staying at the Inn. Gonna be a long summer waiting……
