  • Yeah man I understand, I used to play so much, at least 3 times a week and I got really really good, but then this semester has been really time consuming so I haven't had a chance to play like before and I lost all of my consistency.

I only play like 1 or 2 times a month if that, and I haven't been to the range more than once these last few months.

What I would do is see if you can find an area in your house or outside that you can practice some tips-

1.Try to keep your lower body as still as possible during the backswing to create tension with your upper body, then focus on bringing the left hip back and then drive the right knee forward through the ball. If you keep a nice wrist cock during the downswing and release on time, your swing should straighten up

I usually play a controlled fade and sometimes if my timing is off, I block it right but my swing has become better now that I focus on body rotation instead of sliding and swaying

    good luck
hey man, welcome to THP, as far as the pull left that you posted about earlier, the fade and pull are the same swing the difference is the face position at impact. So a slightly square face will result in a fade if the swing is out to in, if the face is slightly closed it will become a pull left and if the face is open, it will become a slice right.

As far as tips to fix that issue, I would go to either a golf pro instructor or a golftec pro since everyone's swing is different. But a similarity is that the upper body gets ahead of the lower body which causes an out to in swing which results in a pull, fade, slice etc. . .

    Cheers,
    Uriel

(sometimes the golftec pro takes a bit of time to get back to your original question)
