Call of Duty: Black Ops III

I've found that it takes some teamwork and communication and when we do that, all of our performances improve. Be unpredictable and creative, it might serve you well with how versatile the surfaces are to get around the map.

As for "inconsistencies," if there are truly any, it should work both ways. I've had the same moments as everyone, but you also benefit from those times too.

I don't base this off my K:D ratio which is currently around 1.2 or so. It was up in the 1.5 range for a little bit.

I shared my opinion on this game like many others. I guess if I'm not positive about it, I shouldn't say anything? I can't share my true feelings? What if someone happens upon this thread and just wants true feedback?

I think the maps are good maps. Every day I learn of new areas and things to do and try. I think the graphics are well done. I like the guns and all the customization even though that brings its own issues.

The specialists are kind of cool. Not my favorite aspect but still fun to switch them up and try different things.

The scorestreaks can be way too powerful at times and thus why some camp out. Nothing worse than needing 50 points for a huge streak and getting shot in the back. So just hang out and wait for that kill.

This game is far and away better than MW3 and Ghosts. I didn't play AW since I heard how terrible it was from all my friends. I was the first of my group to buy this game and my friends followed. Sadly, they all gave up after a week so I get to play alone. Few people, if any, ever talk on the game.

So if my opinion doesn't count because it's negative, I'll back out
 
No it's not that your opinion doesn't count it's that you are being very definitive about opinions.. I don't notice a ton of the issues you are mentioning and you Saying you aren't in the minority of people having bad experiences just isn't based in fact.

I welcome all opinions man. I am sorry if it didn't come off that way. I apologize. I am absolutely loving this game even with some issues I am willing to admit are present

The older I get the better I was?

Maybe 4-15 games are my new normal
 
Why does it always go like this? There's literally a couple people several posts before this posting about a similar opinion of the game, which was on the negative side. Just voicing my opinion of the game, like you are, which doesn't mean you need to "back out." If I came off poorly, sorry, but it's not my intent.

That being said, there's a lot of people out there that say a lot of things on the internet. If there is truly a "nerfing" of dominating/certain players, that is a shame. I've yet to see it in the many games that I've played, and could be attributed to a large number of other things.

So again, I don't see there's been anything to warrant the reaction there and we are adults and can remain civil. Or maybe this thread needs rules too...
 
I liked ghosts better for the game flow, but also because it was the first CoD that I really spent time pressing the match with subs. I think the sniping on ghosts is way more fun and think the spawn logic on both could improve.

It took me a while to adapt to blops3 but there is a very clear need to be at the forefront of the game flow, otherwise you're going to get trapped and frustrated. That's when it seems like the game is working against you and we all experience it.

I'm not sure I prefer one over the other. I'm skipping AW because I don't play it and it was ass. Comaprably, I was a 2.2 global on ghosts and am a 1.9 on blops3. And only at that level because I'm playing the game as intended rather than how I'd prefer to play which is much slower and more deliberate. Basically, I thrive on the stupidity of others.

It's also why I prefer hardcore. I'm much better with the first shot than I am with the 4th or 5th hit marker. That's why my hardcore k/d is 2.19 I guess.

Hardcore will definitely test the inconsistency thing. Basically first shot kills unless you're using something silenced. I need to play that now that I know the maps and hardly use the mini-map anyways.

You would be amazed at the percentage of players who can't handle a bit of straffing. I find myself cranking the left stick as a reaction when I'm rolling the map with a sub. I see bullets and don't get hit often.
 
Made it to round 23 with bmik, AMart, and JRod last night on Shadows of Evil (Zombies). It is absolutely wild how effective the blast furnace double pack perk is.

My dude JRod is not a big fan of BlOps3. Big props for trying to hang in there, but I just don't see it working out in the end hahaha
 
I give BO3 some credit ... its was better than AW in my opinion ... I do not get to wrapped up in K/D, I usually hang out in the .75 range, but then I play Dom and most games I will try to capture the flags ...

I have found I am really good at shooting down the UAV's! I shoot more of those some games than other players.

As far as shooting people ... some times I am the bug,and sometimes I am the windshield ... call it connection, or what ever you want, but some games I can get the drop on most gun battles, and some games there is no way, even if I am corner camping ...

I have learned that I like PvE type games better as I get older and slower, but being a long time CoD fan, I have enjoyed playing BO3 a few games a night, before I switch over and play a PvE game.

I'm so terrible I can't play for more than 10 minutes anymore dude.

Sucks because I had a blast playing with everyone in BLOPS 2.

Played this for the first time over the weekend. Started the campaign and played some zombies with a buddy of mine. We can't seem to get past the first swarm of flying bugs and the one time we did we got to level 8 before we died.

Any PS4 owners that want to party up, add me AngryYank.

There's got to be something that you and I are missing. That one "thing" that just makes the game click. My thought right now is more posting up in spots behind cover.

I enjoyed both of the previous Black Ops games.
 
I set new Zambies records for myself last night.

Got to 41 solo on the Giant, and AMart, bmik and I got to level 34 on Shadows of Evil. Two very different experiences.
 
I know I sound bipolar here but stay with me...

After a couple days off and some messages to Dan, I see light at the end of the tunnel. I got my buddy to play last night and he really enjoyed it.

HVK with grip and QuickDraw has been money for us. We also slowed down and let the idiots come to us. If I went negative, it was like 12-13 not 4-15. Many games I was the top on my team.

I'm also using Ghost, Fast Hands and Gung Ho for now. It seems to really help.

My one key tip is that you have to be the fastest down the sights. If you can slow down your play and let idiots do their thing, you'll win most battles.

people who play multi are very, VERY predictable. I always joke that I play the worst against really bad players who don't know what they are doing because then I don't know what they are doing.

Ever noticed how level 4 players do crazy well at times?

Most don't know the maps at all so they slow down and let the game come to them. It's what I did at the beginning and I played better.
 
I want to change my Xbox Live name to Charlie Sheen, and only use the H.I.V.E.
 
I was really bad at this tonight. I'm up to level 6... But I feel insanely sloooow reaction wise. Really enjoy hardcore more.

I'm at level 8. I get crushed in most games. K/D I think is 0.5 or 0.6. Pretty big changes from the first Black Ops (the last COD I played).

It amazes me how quick people are. I have to realize that they have better everything than me as well. I'll get better.... But I'll probably never get back to my 3:1 ratio I had with the original Modern Warfare 2 which originally started me on the new gaming systems.
