After opening the season with ten consecutive wins, my Patriots have lost three of their last five.

I am not amused.

Offensive line decimated.

Receiving corps with no healthy slotbacks. Gronk can't do it alone. Wideouts are useless.

3rd down back gone.

Both safeties out.

I want that fifth trophy. The Brady-Belichick era is getting near the end, and once it's over, it's over. I may not even watch football anymore.

As it is, my psyche will never recover from blowing the 2007 season 19-0 year. The Giants were my team prior to the birth of the Patriots in 1960 and my co-team for a few years after.

I saw them beat the Bears in '56. Then the clowns lost to Baltimore in '58, lost to Baltimore in '59, lost to Green Bay in '61, lost to Green Bay in '62, lost to Chicago in '63, and then went into the toilet for quite a while, allowing me to be a 100% Patriots fan even before the AFL-NFL merger. I could never imagine that it would be the Giants to screw up the 19-0 season. A pox on the MFers!

This year is frustrating again. We looked unstoppable when we had all of our pieces. What a stupid game it must be when you're almost guaranteed that a certain percentage of your guys are going to get busted up. I freaking hate football. I hate the NFL. I just love the Brady-Belichick era Patriots, the same gang that the rest of the country hates. Go figure.
 
Awesome to see an NFL page in here guys. Being from Oregon I naturally gravitated to the Hawks back during the Chuck Knox era and the old AFC West days. We had a huge setback last week in getting tossed around by the Rams but its a tough division and they've been a matchup nightmare for us. Granted they haven't won at our place in 10 years but that's not to say they haven't been competitive. Sure hope Marshawn, Hill, Okung and Chancellor can make it back by playoff time. Funny how 3 teams are all trying to be the one to get to play the Skins. Between Minnesota and Green Bay obviously with the success we had earlier this year at Minnesota I'd rather face them but they're peaking rigt now also.
 
Definitely a NFL thread and even do Fantasy Football each year for THPers.
This year was 7 leagues each with 16 teams.

Bill O'Brien will draft Christian Hackenberg. They worked well together at Penn State, and he'll be on the board in the second round. That's my guess, anyway.

For you Packer ans who do you guys want to play in the WC round? I guess it depends on the Hawk-Cardinal game and Minnesota. I kind of hope we get Minnesota but it really doesn't matter.
 
If the Colts do not fire Ryan Grigson, I am watching figure skating or water polo next year.

Lol Manziel spotted in a Vegas casino last night. What a jackass. What doesn't this guy get? If farmer or pettine had a set they would have cleaned out his locker and same day shipped all his crap to Vegas so he didn't have to come back to the team facility
