I have been able to play at Royal Mumia, Ewa Beach and Hawaii Prince Club (I think that was the name) on Oahu.

I did play a course on Maui but I don't remember the name for the life of me.

Hoping to play a few more later this year.

Hawaii Prince and Coral Creek are pretty good too. Decent designs with a few risk reward holes thrown in.

Ahh yeah, forgot about those two. I've played Prince, but haven't been to Coral Creek since I got back out here. I played it well before they swapped the two 9s. I'm playing Barbers Point tomorrow so I'll drive right past it!

One time visitor to Kauai. Princeville is definitely top of the list for Kauai. Try to pick a good weather day though. It can get nasty on the north side. Poipu is a nice resort course. We really enjoyed Puakea, it deserves more chops in my book. Just for kicks, a real hoot and a fun oddball day, go play Kukuiolono on the south side of the island. This is a local track. No, it's not well maintained, but it is dripping with local flavor. The folks who play there are real characters. Wild turkeys roam the course (thanks to a hurricane a few decades back). The views are stunning!

I agree with this assessment. I played Poipu Bay on a horrifically windy day so it was an insane grind. Princeville was a real treasure and I was lucky enough to play with almost no wind.

It's funny because when my wife and I were on Kauai the weather was PERFECT for golf, but of course we were there to do some sightseeing and whatnot. No matter, I'll be back and I plan on playing all of those courses. ItsOpeningDay mentioned the wind at Poipu Bay and I could tell it was a wind swept course just by being on the beach that's right down the way. I look forward to knocking these courses off my list the next couple years. By the time I leave I hope to have played the majority of them across all the islands!

    15 years ago I played

Wailea Golf Club on Maui, but can't remember what course
Puakea on Kauai - Was paired up here with a young teenage asian girl who was very good and her dad. This may sound strange, but to this day I wonder if I was playing with Michelle Wie and didn't know it haha. She would have been 12-13 at the time.
