Ha, there’s a good chance that was her!

I’ve seen Wailea on several ‘best courses in Hawaii’ lists so I’m looking forward to getting out there eventually.

I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but you might as well put Nanea on your "To Play" list. Can't hurt, right?

Yeah, it was a half-joke and that's why I said I knew it wouldn't be easy. We have a Charles Schwab-developed club here in Montana (Stock Farm Club) that is also pretty exclusive, but nowhere near the level of Nanea I don't think.

I'm usually only playing 1 or fewer rounds of golf when we vacation in Hawaii because I spend more time diving or beaching it.

Best thing is about Nanea. Friends with the assistant GK. Just afraid to ask for a round.

Schwab and George Roberts developed it. Ton of Bay Area folks (a lot of SFGC members).

I'll be sticking to my usual course rotation for the next few weeks, but I'm probably going to try to get to Maui with the wife the next time she has a session down there so I can start chipping away at a few of those courses. Kapalua will happen before summer. Count on it!
