Ya or Nay. My wife played for a few years, gave it up after an accident broke three of her fingers. I would like her to get
back to the game, maybe to enjoy some warm winter vacations or just not to feel not so guilty spending an entire weekend day away.
But then there is the flip side, separating golf from wife. What you say?

My wife and I play golf together a lot. We've worked together at a couple of golf courses the last six years.

Playing together for 6 years. Anywhere from 30 to 40 rounds together. She's a trooper. We played today, high of 52 and it snowed twice.

Yup. I actually play twice as much now because of our rounds together

Nay. Played together a couple of times when years ago she took lessons and showed interest. Even though she played pretty darn well for a novice, her enthusiasm waned.

She really only wanted to play for business prospects and she underestimated how hard it really was.

Love it, we have a great time together!!!

The only thing I would change about my wife. I wish she played.

We play a couple times a year, usually a scramble and another round or 2. She's competitive and gets frustrated quickly though. Had a driver helicoptered at me while I was sitting in the cart once, nothing said, then tears. We stopped playing as much after that. Lol

Yay! My wife and I played together yesterday. We're on a trip celebrating 40 years of marriage and planned two rounds of golf during this trip.

I play golf with my wife all the time. I also play with my regular group without any issues from her.

Sounds awful, then again I am single.

I get away with A LOT more golf with my wife involved. Many of my friends are jealous that we play together.

My wife and I play together from time to time at our club as well when we take vacations.
On average though, she has her group & I have mine.

In my opinion it couldn't be better. We dont play all of our rounds together so it's not like its all of the time.

I would love to play golf with my wife if she played. She claims that she wants to start playing when I retire. Hope it happens but not holding my breath.

This is exactly why I would like her to play again. Golf travel, I can't justify a week or so away while she's stuck at home.

Another reason I'd like her to play, to get to play more!

We play quite a bit together now that the kids are fully out of the house. When we travel she is only good for 18 in a day but that is probably for the best, I'm not enjoying 36 holes/day as much as I used to.

Love it. Wish she played more

Nay. If the wife played, too, it wouldn't be an escape, would it? :)

Actually, she has shown no interest in ever taking up the game or even going to the range to try to hit balls.

If she enjoys it, I'm all for it. A great way to spend time together IMO.

Nay for me. My wife has little to no interest in golf and golf is my time. If she were serious about golf and wanted to learn, improve and become a great golfer, Id be all about it but she has no interest and Im OK with that.
She has actually played in a couple tournaments with me where it was best ball format and we did pretty well. She doesnt hit the ball far but she hits it pretty straight and it allowed me to take some chances with my shots, which is mostly why we won.

This a thousand times over. She's amazing, has a great career and is active with other things, just no interest in golf. She gets me though, and never questions my taking a day on vacation to play.

We go out a few times and play with our 5 and 3 year old. Nothing serious, just drop some balls and hit into greens and do some putting.
