Awesome Track. Played it for a couple college tournaments. When the wind starts blowing that place is a beast. Also a side note word is they host a pretty awesome wedding as well! Awesome pics man

I snuck outta work and played at Harborside on Chicagos' Southside yesterday and I can feel your pain. I knew it was going to be bad when into the fan driving range had me eating divots all warm-up session. Easily a constant 15-18mph with gusts at 25mph. Was a tough day so I feel your guys mental fatigue!
 
Where is everyone playing this weekend? I'm hoping to get out to the Aberdeen in Valparaiso on Sunday. Normally have the place to myself and for $45 with that lay out you cant beat it. Love to hear where everyone is playing!

Playing at Arrowhead in Wheaton tomorrow in a little tourney a friend is organizing...should be fun. I have never played it but hear that its pretty good.

I think Dhartman34 is entering the lifetime penalty box this weekend so likely no golf for him.... Just kidding, I actually love being married...if I wasn't who would watch my kids while I golf?? Congrats!!!!

Arrowhead is nice. I wrote a review on it on here. I think I played the south and east courses.

I think he said he's playing Sunday. Obviously he's not married just quite yet

Haha, that's awesome! I'll check out the review. We are on S and W, I hear the east is tough and looks it from the hole by hole.

Arrowhead is a sweet track. I normally don't like courses that do 3 9s but they manage it really well.. I love the contrast between the green grass and white bunkers they have. Also I can't remember which course but the short par 4 carry over water is a fun little hole. You should have a blast there.

No, but in 4 weeks I'm going to head over to Crete and tackle Balimoral Woods than hit Lost Marsh in Hammond. Also (during that week) would like to head up and play Harbor Shores.. That might be my last big week of golf for the year..

Harbor Shores is great, a lot of fun holes and the greens are insane! Terrible layout if you don't like cart golf...

Yes!!! You have to take one. At the Senior PGA they had to drive guys from hole to hole in vans and did the same for spectators. The 18 holes are laid out in 3 distinct groups, and there are really long drives between holes. Some of the greens are crazy....one has a 15 foot rise in it.

Balmoral woods is a nice Trac. Lost marsh is in my opinion not a very good Trac layout is not very good especially the front 9 . If you want to play a decent Trac close to lost marsh go play palmira in st john

I heard that was a good one. Played long wood last week in dyer , that was a fun course too. I heard that lost marsh is ridiculously hard, with the marsh and blind tee shots. Looks like Palmira is pretty inexpensive too
