I’ve now seen two interviews this week about Pat Perez saying that he will not continue to work out or change his bad eating habits. This almost brought a tear to my eyes! Winning this week should help reinforce what works for him. Hope he wins a lot more!!!!

Pat is on a role and I’m happy for him. I do fear that his hot hand will cool and he will be on his radio show talking about his bad habits.

Regardless of his golf game, he should want to lose some weight around his midsection. That's purely for health reasons. That gut is not good.

Love that Pat owns who he is, physique and all.

I think putting his interview in context that all he was/is saying is that compared to a lot of the guys on Tour that exercise, workout have personal trainers and eat right that that’s not for him and he isn’t changing who he is... and good for him.. I know there isn’t anyone that wouldn’t love the chance to Tee it up for 18 w/him... and I love his gig w/Michael Collins on XM “Out of Bounds” these 2 are what Golf needs... no PC talk that’s for sure.

Glad to see Perez win

It seems silly for a professional athlete to not take care of their body. It is literally their livelihood. I'm sure he keeps the grooves on his clubs clean and changes grips regularly. Makes no sense to not at least do the equivalent with his body.

He seems that he knows his body and what works. I assume that if he was in his early 20’s he would be in some type of workout regimen with all the other young players. Nice to see him have the success now in any case.

I am going to say he would rather not mess with his swing that losing a little in the midsection can do.

Midsection weight loss with change his swing?

Didn't Dufner's swing get a little off when he lost the weight? Granted if he did lose weight he could figure it out pretty quick given the talent it takes to get on tour in the first place.

it did for carl pettersson. and i think tim herron struggled too but i could be wrong about that one.

Their body types were different. Pat has not adjusted for girth.

His show with Micheal Collins on XM radio '' Out of Bounds'' is the best thing going on PGA radio in my opinion. I love that show and tune in for it religiously. Perez is just to real for some to handle. Pat is in my top 5 Favorite golfers for sure.

agreed...tells the truth with no sugar coating it

If I were Pat Perez I would not change anything either. Whatever he is doing seems to be working for him!
