That's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying another hybrid or fairway wood.

So, I received my 21-degree head and shaft within 2 days of my order, I live locally so I'm sure that helped, since assembling the club, I've only been able to hit it at the range a couple of times due to a nagging knee injury, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far, it seems much easier to hit than my 4-iron and has a somewhat muted sound and a nice feel to it. I just need to get it on my local course to see if there's a place for it in my bag.

Glued up and curing. Hoping this might be the answer to the tough par 3 at my course.

I finally got my 21-degree driving iron on the course yesterday, I only used it on a few shots, but, I was not disappointed, I was always a little weary about the buying products from some of these smaller companies , but, this has definitely changed my mind about the quality, performance and value of some of these clubs. After seeing some higher-than-expected launch with the 21-degree, I'm actually considering trying the 18 degreed.

Have to get it cut and throw a grip on, but will be ready when I can get back on a LM Friday.

I've been pondering putting together one of the hollow body Dynacraft Muscle Blades. They look similar, but you can get a full set of them.

Haven't pulled the trigger because I don't have a shaft yet.

Just ordered the 18 degree with a UST Mamiya Competition Series shaft. Should have it on Monday. Hopefully I don't hook it like my 17 degree Hybrid I'm replacing.

I haven't had any issues at all with hooking the ball, but I used a steel shaft in my 21 degree driving iron, not sure if that makes a difference or not, but good luck.

Now that I've kind of remembered how to swing a golf club, I need to give this another try.

How are are you liking these with the Radix shafts? Are the X flex in those stiff enough?

They are fine for me. I picked X in that shaft solely to mimic the feel of a steel shaft but be moderately lighter to allow to swing faster. I love it and it does just what I want it to do, but I am not a huge shaft aficionado and so your mileage may vary.

What kind of yardage do you get out of these? I just got mine put together, but haven't had it out yet. I have a driver swing speed of 108-110, my 18* hybrid carries 230-235, and my 2 iron (18.5*) in my set is carrying about 220, being that it is 0.75" shorter and steel. I'm hoping with this new driving iron having the same exact shaft as my hybrid and cutting it dead in the middle of the two lengths at 40 1/8" that it will blend the best of both worlds. The workability of the normal 2 iron with the distance closer to that of my hybrid. I love the look of theses Dynacraft Driving Iron heads though!

I, too, love how they look. Some of the best looking component clubs I have seen.

The only way I can answer you is to say that my 23* hybrid and my 21* driving iron both carry 200 yards, with the hybrid going higher and landing softer, and the driving iron penetrating wind better and rolling out a little more. I believe they have the same length shaft.
