NDMC - platinum grips

I need to grab a new set of grips. Always play mcc +4. Going to go smaller this time, just standard NDMC. I see the platinum on close out in places. Is this any different than the standard other than colorway?
 
No. I have gamed both and did not detect any differences.

thanks for the feedback. I suspected that. I guess the colorways offered didn't gain in popularity, hence the discontinuation.
