The conditioning isn't quite as good as I remember, but it's still a really nice layout in a beautiful spot. Probably one of the most playable Pete Dye designs I'd say, it's not absurdly punishing.Ahhhh!!! Pete Dye

Ehhh. Greens are pretty inconsistent, fairways are honestly pretty dicey. But I like the layout a lot, and the views are great!

It's the dumbest hole I've ever played. 90° dogleg right side hill/uphill par 4 with water all along the right side past the trees.

Sudden Valley (course in the PNW) features that sort of thing on the entire back 9. It's horrific.

I'm not new to the game but I was plenty turned off. No desire to ever go back there.
The worst part is when you hit one through the trees... Only to find a stupid lateral hidden through the gap.

I'm not new to the game, but not that good either and I'll avoid stupid, penal courses like that as much as I can. They are just not fun to play no matter how pretty and picturesque.

It's seriously like 10 yards wide, tops. I've seen clown's mouths at mini golf courses with bigger openings.

That's just ridiculous! I don't like courses that require you to hit specific shots for every hole, I'd much rather play a hole that can be played 3-4 different ways than one where if you can't hit a perfect draw you're in for a triple bogey. Probably why I enjoyed playing a links course so much.
