I think it's a really tough comparison to draw. Noise is wildly different, making it hard to feel like you're getting anything similar in feedback. That said, I think there's a lot more than meets the eye with the LTD.... I love it. The sound is addictive and the results were fantastic for me.

Really, I would just encourage getting yourself to a local store to take some swings with it.

Having watched you destroy the ball off the tee when we played together in Savannah, I think you should give the LTD a whirl. I saw some pretty drastic distance gains with this driver as compared to the D200 when I was at PGASS ... you should at least give it a few swings and see what happens.

I can't wait to see what other companies come with in high MOI putters. Cure has done a good job and with the CX line is heading in a direction that gives a more traditional look that should bring in more consumers.

I'm really excited to see this line from TM. I've always been a fan of what they have done with their putters, and for the first time in two years it seems they went back and dedicated themselves to their putters for release.

This line should be fun. I'm excited to try them out.

I am seriously pondering a See More putter... My local Golfsmith must have just started carrying them recently and I got to try them out in person...

So, what are the more popular versions/ models? All I know right now is that I want a 35in.

I've had both of those and 816 dbd is way more playable than 815 without sacrificing low spin. With that said, xr16 pro is pretty doggone awesome

another odyssey #9, but at 32.5" and with an insert. i REALLY like the way i'm rolling the prototype black right now, but the milled head is really hot. i'm thinking maybe something with an insert, a white hot pro 2.0 or works would help bring that under control.

and a apex 5h with tour spx irod shaft.

oh, and stiff flex shafts for my irons, just not sure what. i do dig the dg pros, just thinking that if i have s in everything other than my irons, might make sense to swap those out too.

I'm thinking a new driver needs to go in the bag this year.

There is so many to choose from though.

New callaway gear is always on my list but I really like the J715 from Bridgestone so the new JGR maybe? Cobra also has me very intrigued as well. Wish there was a better place to go try clubs near me. I'll get it done one way or another....

After today at the PGA superstore I now have fallen in love with the Callaway 816 14* fairway wood! Thing is a beast! I also was a huge fan of the 816 DBD but its no better than my R15 so no changes in driver this year! I need that fairway I think.

Little side note...I was a huge fan of the Wilson Staff FG Tour F5 3 wood. I couldn't believe how forgiving and solid this club was! This is my number two choice as of now. Wilson is doing great things and I hope to get into the Wilson event this year!
