The legendary broadcaster passed late last night at age 89. A voice I will never forget growing up hearing him on college football broadcasts.
 
Really enjoyed listening to that guy. Another big loss
 
Growing up, he shaped how o viewed college football. He was able to paint a picture and tell a story that made you feel you were in that stadium on any given Saturday.
 
He was a great announcer and fun to listen to. RIP.
 
IMHO The GOAT of college football broadcasters.

One of my favorite announcers growing. Loved it when he would say, "Wooahhh Nellie..."

RIP to a true gentlemen. Dick Enberg and Keith Jackson were two of the best.
 
Having been born and raised in Oregon, Keith Jackson was my voice to college football as he did the PAC 10 games of the week. RIP sir.

He was about the only thing to look forward to during the OSU/Michigan games during the 1990's as an OSU fan. His voice was memorable.
 
I played hundreds of sandlot football games after listening to Keith Jackson. So sad to hear that someone who was such a big part of my childhood has left us. Sad day indeed
