Two both from my child hood and possibly the same vacation.

    1. Fried Chicken Dinner at Mrs. Knotts Chicken Dinner restaurant (circa 1981?)
    2. King crab legs and prime rib at a restaurant in Anaheim called the Pier 9 (I believe) They had a salad bar that was nothing but candy but by the time I actually finished my meal (and at 9 years old I ate ALL of it) I couldn't force myself to the candy bar to grab a Snickers. Sadly, they closed years ago. I really wanted to take my wife last October but they've been defunct for several years from what I understand.

So this will sound weird unless you are familiar with the US Army Ranger School. The "Ranger Burger" has to have been one of the best meals I ever had. You get one break for a few hours during the course and due to the lack of food in-take during the course the tradition is to go to the Four Winds and get a "Ranger Burger". And I would be remised if I did not mention the blueberry pancakes in Mountain Phase of Ranger School. They also get mentioned a lot as being the best meal by students.

I was borderline hammered but that steak at Jocko's is up there. I'm gonna miss it when we have the next SoCal/NorCal unofficial event.

    Have a couple.

All you can eat Maine lobster on a Princess Cruise that was to die for.

Anything and everything on the menu at the Maple Street Grill in Florence, Oregon. The couple that took over a couple years ago is something else. The wife is an award-winning cook that does things with flavors that is absolutely amazing!

10th wedding anniversary at inn of the 7th mountain in bend, oregon (2003) red pepper and sweet potato hash, top sirloin and a tequila lime hollandaise, the hash was great, the steak was great but add the hollandaise to either and the bite was amazing (the company was pretty fine also)

Burnt Ends at a Kansas City restaurant (can't remember the name) following the 2015 THP K.C. Invitational. I had never had them before and just tried them on a whim. WOW! OBTW - Rambler and I won than event over a really good field of THPers, so, everything tasted pretty good to me. But, oh those Burnt Ends were delicious!
