The Sushi Thread

Had sushi tonight while out on the road in the Charlotte area. Nice place with some great fresh sushi newer been here before but enjoyed it. Nothing too exotic just really good. Went with a spicy salmon roll topped with jalapeño and also spicy crab roll. Satisfied a craving.

Still craving that place you sent us to in Orlando a few years back!

When I was filling up with gas the other day this was on top of the gas pump, mind you it was a grocery store, so it might not be too bad, but not the best placement for the ad!

Wait, in Nebraska? :bulgy-eyes: Go to japan for great sushi and a great time, or at least closer to the coast. Yikes
 
Sushi tonight at a place called Sapporo in Scottsdale. A Rainbow roll and something they called a yummy yummy roll (shrimp tempura with spicy tuna). Pretty good!

Two weeks in Tampa, and getting my first taste of sushi here. I'm typically a nigiri only type of guy, but their two special rolls looks very interesting and had to try. I think this might have to become a Friday night tradition for me.

Origami Sushi on Waters. It was pretty good. Pretty nice place, definitely stands out from the area it's located. Inside is nice, and I'll be going again.
 
In major depression now about sushi... My wife has never liked seafood so she is a 'no go' automatically. And now my boss is pregnant so she won't go out to lunch with me for sushi either. Guess i'm going to be going solo, otherwise there wont be any sushi in my future for quite awhile.
 
Next event we are at together Girard, you can go with us.

What are those, JB?
 
Top one is crab meat center wrapped in seared tuna. Second one is shrimp crab and avocado topped with fried crab. Both have sauce and were fantastic.

That sounds delicious. I haven't had sushi in a few months and craving some now. Not many good sushi places in central Alabama though.
 
They were delicious.
 
This thread always makes me hungry!
 
A week in Flushing, NY leaves nothing but Sushi for all meals...
