Last year I bought a Callaway Razr Fit driver from the bargain bin of my local golf store. I think I paid $85.00 for it. It is now my gamer and has been. Love the shaft, and the feel of the club. But it’s a bit of an older model, and I prefer the new driver look with black face. So I painted mine. Wasn’t sure if the paint job would hold, but it did. In fact, it looks better than my Cobra King F7 driver that I just bought in October which had paint scuffs/blemishes on the face right in the middle after one day on the driving range.

The trick to making it work was proper sanding and allowing plenty of cure time (48 hours) before hitting it.

And yes, I love that exaggerated alignment aid. Last night I played nine after work and literally hit every fairway....first time in a long time. Shot a 39 on the front as a result. Very happy.
