I joined the site early this month and realized I haven't made a check-in thread yet!

I was first introduced to golf when my dad worked at a casino and played golf to network. He brought me out one day and I fell in love with the game. I was 12 at the time and I'm now 21. Growing up, it was just for fun because basketball was my main sport and my main focus. It wasn't until my junior year of high school that I joined the golf team and my love of the game reached new heights.

Coming out of high school, I had offers to play D2 at a couple small schools in North Dakota and Florida but a month before my graduation, I tore my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus by deciding that my big 6'4 225 pound body should try and do flips and tricks at a trampoline park....needless to say it didn't look good when I was lying on the ground with little kids jumping over me having a great time!

I made great strides this past year dropping my scores from mid 80's and 90's down to consistent 70's and low 80's. I ended the season with a 3.7 handicap. Unfortunately, winter will no doubt bring that back up.

I look forward to getting more involved with THP and can't wait to follow along with the awesome events this year!
