Choose Your Cleveland Setup

The scenario is you are given cart blanche for an entire 14 club bag with Cleveland Golf. You can choose anything you want including their custom shaft and grip options. You have to put together a 14 club bag. Read the thread over for all of the choices and where to find shaft and grip options!

Coming soon is the Game Changer with Cleveland Golf and 7 lucky THPers are headed to AZ to play golf with Jamie Sadlowski, meet the Cleveland Golf team and part of the event is getting a full bag of clubs. All 14 of them. This thread is about their entire lineup and what would you choose to put the bag together. The participants will be in here as well, because they have to make this very selection right now. So here it goes.

Driver: Cleveland Launcher HB
9, 10.5 or 12 degrees

FW Wood: Launcher HB
15 or 18 degrees

Hybrid: Launcher HB
19, 22 or 25 degrees

Irons: CBX or Launcher HB
4-PW

Wedges: RTX-3 or CBX
Choose Finish
Choose Lofts
Choose Bounce

Putter: Huntington Beach Collection or TFi 2135 Satin
Any Model

Golf Ball: Any Srixon Golf Ball
Choose Color Offered

Golf Bag: Cleveland Stand Bag
Choose Color Option

Shafts:
Missing from those are shaft options and we know THPers love their custom shafts, so The Game Changer is giving you free reign on the Cleveland Custom Catalogue. Chose any shafts you want. You can find the full selection here.

Grips:
Same as shafts. You can choose any option you want from their custom catalogue (same link as above).

Cleveland Golf Stand bag: Navy/red/white

Balls: Z-Star Tour Yellow

Have to go yellow baby!

I don’t even know yet, going through the catalog. I’d need to hit the CBX irons first and see how the stock shafts were.

The driver really launches it, so I’d try the 9 degree head and see if that works better than the 10.5. Shaft, something to compliment the head selected. I’m not sure if going heavier would pair well with it or if you should stick with a light shaft as well? I’d need to look that up

Same as the woods and hybrid.

Wedges, rtx 3.0’s for sure.

Putter, something in the Huntington Beach collection. They’re great looking putters.

Putters are so damn personal. I LOVE my Elevado CB though...

I know you like the short putters - remember toying with yours at Cog Hill.

I have that bag from last years event and it is sweet! I always get compliments on it.

I don't know at all where to start. Do I go 5 wood or hybrid? Do I try something new or stick to my trusted stuff?

So many shafts/options to choose from!

From what I learned from last years event and playing these clubs since last Aug. I would go with:

Launcher 10.5 driver
Irons: combo set 5-6 HB Launcher, 7-PW CBX
Launcher Hybrids
CBX Wedges
Huntington Beach putter

This will be a fun thread to follow.

Since we have the bag, putter and balls set, lets move on to the wedges....

CBX 50* (bent to 49*) & 54* (not bent) 2* flat, 1/4" short with the stock (GASP!!!!) TTDG 115 W with a Lamkin black uTx grip

Smart Sole S3 58*, 2* flat, 1/4 short with the same TTDG 115 W with a Lamkin black uTx grip

boy I am ripping through this way faster than I thought!!!

EDIT: just saw the Smart Sole wasn't listed, if not available I will be more than happy with a 58* with the same settings as the 50 & 54, also not sure on bending or length, just going with what my last fitting was for.
