Watched one on the 6 day war last night .

Depressing and slightly amusing all at once. It has to be embarrassing to try to gang up on someone and get wrecked before the first day is even over .

I've been re-watching the Victory at Sea series. I have them on DVD but you can find them on youtube.

I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoy them as much for the musical scores as I do for the historical value.

Are these the ones narrated by Laurence Olivier ?

Just watched the "Dark Water" documentary. Don't wanna spoil anything but it is both tragic and inspiring. Very similar to "Grizzly Man".

Documentary nut here: a recent one I watched that was rather disturbing? Hot Girls Wanted, it's the business of amateur girls and what they go through to try and make it into the porn industry

I tried watching this until the scene with those two girls smoking weed and rapping.

Couldn't do it anymore

Netflix has "I'll be Me" about Glen Campbell, his Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2012 and subsequent tour to promote his album. It is one of the most amazing and heart wrenching docs I've seen. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Looking for a really interesting documentary on poverty to study with one of my classes.

I can think of a few, but perhaps I am missing a really good option.

The 30 for 30 tonight "The Gospel According to Mac" was really good. If you don't know the story around the late 90's Colorado football teams it is a great story

I'm a pretty stoic guy and that documentary got to me - highly recommend it

I got sucked into it last night with no intention of watching and I really enjoyed it.

I've been on a Ken Burns kick and dove back in to rematch his doc on the dust bowl this week.

Also, this thread reminds me of Hawk. I miss and love me some Hawk.

GG and I watched one called the Cocaine Cowboys a little while back that we loved. It was so interesting about Miami in the 80s.

My uncle is in that one but that's a story for another day!

Looking for something to watch tonight. Suggestions welcomed.

Watch Fat, Sick and nearly dead 2

On the way to school is probly my favorite. Really enjoyed the Tom petty one and the Eagles one was solid as well. "Next goal wins" is the last one I watched and it was a really cool story about the American Samoa national soccer team.

Chefs table season 2 is out and in my Netflix queue, I enjoyed most of season 1.

I loved the Tom Petty as well as the Eagles ... I will definitely watch them again

I just got HBO Now and I am digging through their documentaries ... the Morgue ones look interesting.
