Good explanation of the product placement. So far, I'd say they hit the target with the M4.

TM has imo its best iron lineup in years, but they needed to explain how the different lines fit. The lines were a little blurred for me between the m3 and 790s. Thanks for doing this!

Just ordered M4 irons yesterday. Can't wait 'til they get here. The performed great for me in the stimulator during the fitting.

That was my take as well. With the M3 not getting much mention as the players iron, yet it being smaller than the 790.

I was actually really surprised at the length difference when I went to demo these. For someone who likes that i200/CF16 sized club with a relatively short blade length plus forgiveness, I was pretty impressed. I liked the M3 better than the M1, but I don't know if that was just the slightly heavier shaft - I get along better with the XP105 than the 95.

I also think they've done a good job on the looks in the M4 line - I can't put my finger on it, but the proportions look better than the M2 (especially the first iteration) did.

I tend to agree with you here. To me it looks like the top line is more "hidden" if that makes sense.

It does - I don't look at it and say "oh wow this is huge". I know he mentioned the Rocketbladez/Burner in the video, and I think to me it seems a lot more of a spiritual successor to those than the original M2 did, which felt like it went more "unapologetically SGI".

Agreed there too. It could be why they weren't talked about a lot. The last iteration almost seemed like a quick sequel to me.
