AR has some real potential, not just in golf but many areas. This idea you found could be interesting if done well.

Golf AR App Puts golf holes on your coffee table...

This is pretty cool really. It could make for great second screen viewing if they can keep up with what’s going on in real time. Especially for featured groups coverage, but they’d really need to have all the holes covered vs just one.
