Country club experience

I'm currently standing in the clubhouse of a country club, listening to a live band (lead guitar has an afro, lead vocal has a Liam Gallagher vibe) playing songs from the 70s , 80s and 90s and watching the "older" folk have a great time and dancing up a storm

It's the sat night after day one of a two day golf event.

I reckon this is just awesome. Anyone had any cool golf experiences they want to share. Must be some cool small town country clubs in the U.S. with similar events and feels to this one.

Guessing my 7:00am tee of tomorrow will be a bit blurry eyed

I have some great stories, but I'm a younger member and it involves my friends and I having a good time and making poor decisions

We have no shame and the club/GM, board, and members don't hold it against us. We're still very welcome and why I love being a member.
