It was played there one year (2006) after being held at En-Joie in Binghamton. Atunyote at Turning Stone was home to the Turning Stone Open (Dustin Johnson's first victory) that used to take place in the Fall; and Notah Begay still holds a charity event there.

I did a course review for 2 of the 3 "PGA" courses, and I'll link them there in a second (tapatalk).

we could call it New England vs Tri-State-Area ............but unfortunately Connecticut couldn't and still cant figure out which Region they belong to. In fact the whole NE region couldn't figure anything out so they made 6 states instead of one nice big one so no one (including themselves) really knows who or what they are.:alien:

Garbage plates and Genny sound like one glorious victory meal. If only we could pound down some pizza & wings at Pontillos before heading to the course. Man that would be an epic day.

After my gall bladder surgery I'm not sure I could handle a day of eating like that, but I sure as head still try!

When all is revealed, #THPRegionalRivalry will be something remembered for a long time.

We have a very special year for our 2016 Albatross Club members and this will be a part of it
 
I can't remember being this excited to hear more about an event in a while. And that's saying a lot. I'm itching for competition, and these are two fantastic groups of guys to make some teams from.

Me too dude! This will be a blast. Yes a rivalry, but the two groups we have will be such a fun time on the course. I really feel like it'll be one of those rounds where everyone is pulling for each other no matter what side you're on.
