I do not accept where I currently am because I wholeheartedly believe I can be much better. However, with my back issues and time available to practice, I am content with how I play at the moment. Im hoping by next year I can devote more time to practicing and really taking a few more strokes off my HC.

I'm pretty happy and humble with what I got. One day could be 80 the next day could be 90, whatever. I'm better than what I was but I know I can improve all parts of my game, especially driver.

But it's whatever, I can keep it respectable, just when I think all things are clicking and break 80 I forget everything I did and put up a higher number the next round. It's all relative. As long as I stay in the 80s I'll be happy.

I'm very thankful for my play. I want more, expect more but considering that I don't practice full swing at all, I likely don't deserve a lick more from the game than I've already been given.

I can't (won't) practice now due to a bad back, I save the good days for play. But even years ago when I was whole, I only practiced full swing during the winter when the range was my only source for a golf fix.

Come summer, it was always play, zero full swing practice. Now living in NC, range work doesn't register at all on my radar.

I've always thought that my game was apt to fall off the shelf as I relied on hand/eye coordination and whatever athletic ability I have. With both being fleeting, as they erode with time, maybe my game will quickly escape me along with them.

    But... maybe not.

I've accepted that I won't be in single digits any time soon, there's too many inconsistencies within my game. I am however working towards it and feel that in a couple years I can be there. I worked with an instructor who tweaked a few things here and there, and then some of the tips given here on the forum have helped other areas. 11's is the goal for this year and I'll be low 12's with this next revision.
