Marathon day!!

Playing my annual marathon day of golf for the solstice. Obviously I did not get out yesterday, but I was driving to Virginia so I’m doing it today. Playing a course I grew up kind of playing with my dad every once in a while. Nothing super tough, but it has its challenges in places.

I’m going to try and get as many rounds as I can. I know I will get at least 36 holes in, hopefully 54 if weather permits.

The contest: what will my score be for 36 holes and just in case, post a 54 hole score! I will be playing a round from the whites and then the blues. The third round will be played from probably the whites again depending on how I’m feeling.

This will stay open until the end of today (10 est) and I will give the winner something pretty nice that I received from a good guy here on THP. Sort of share the wealth/paying it forward.
So decent chance for two winners today, hopefully a lot of people enter in we can have some fun with this thing.

Round 3 interrupted after 10 due to lightening and tornado warnings. So I packed it in. Will look over the 36 hole scores this evening and find the winner tomorrow. Contest ends at 10 est

Ok, now I feel better. I was thinking you must be crazy for running a marathon this time of year. Too bad, it looks like your exercise in golf endurance was cut short by God throwing lightning bolts.
 
Marathon day!!

The scores are in and it was an awesome day yesterday sans the lightening. Thank you all for participating.

Unfortunately nobody got my score. Although it was my fault for that as you guys all guessed too high!

I had a career round the first go and shot a 77! Absolutely excited I did that haha. My second round was more typical of my game and I shot an 83 for a grand total of 160.

Third round got cut short after 10 holes. At that point i had a 47 (40 on the front 9 and a disaster 10th hole which actually gave me fits the first two rounds as well).

I was thinking of how to have a winner in this and after looking at my OP, I didn’t say the winner was the closest without going over soooo that means the winner is:
