Help with my 11 yr old son swing

His last swing was his best because he maintained his levels. The first two swings he lowered his body before the down swing started and changed his swing plain. If he just maintains the flex in his legs and swings the club, he will make contact.

Now his overall swing needs some assistance. I’d get his hands on the club correctly ASAP. This will help strengthen his forearms so he won’t have to break his wrist in order to start his swing. I’d also visit his posture. Get him started on the core pieces of the swing early and it will last forever.

yep, I see wrists breaking before the start of the backswing. Have him keep wrists and arms straight on the take away

next, he dips at the start of the down swing. practice keeping body still, only rotating shoulders. instead of lowering his head/shoulders, focus on relaxing the arms and trying to push the club into the ground just in front of the ball. I practice on the dandelions in the yard. practice and weeding at the same time!
