Just got one of these and they seem to work but when I leave it to dry it ends up like cardboard...

Do you wet them a little before putting them back in their container.

Wouldn't that mold or mildew? Or whats the best way to store these things?

Thanks

I rinse it thoroughly, wring it out, and then put it back into its container

If you fold it up when done, it'll dry in a shape that'll let you put it in your bag. That being said, I never remember to do this, let it dry in the garage, and then say, "ah hell now what am I gonna do with this thing?"

It doesn't get moldy?

Most of these have been treated with an anti-microbial (my company manufactures and sells these). That said, you should be o.k. Putting it back in the container while rinsed and wringed out. If it came in some sort of hard container, you should see a hole on the bottom to allow for air to circulate. If there isn't one, get out your drill and make one. If it came in a bag type container then you could end up with some chance of mold.

I haven't had that problem yet

Samsies. I have two of them, use them for umping fast pitch and really hot days. They work really well. No mold issues. You can wash em, and just roll them up in their original container
