He is boring to watch and listen to as well. If he is going to be considered a great golfer, win more tournamnets and other tournaments than majors. It is impressive that all he has won is majors, but 4 vs. over 80. You decide

    I'll give him 2 more major wins...maybe 3.

I've been watching golf for half my life now and what i've noticed is...winning majors is very difficult.

The great Ernie Els only won 4; the great Vijay Singh only won 3; the great Bernhard Langer only won 2. Many great players only win 1.

Is Koepka better than any of those men? Maybe...remains to be seen. But he is on a pace that most men just can't keep...he has had one of the great stretches in the history of the game.

I donít know on that. I do know that Iím almost sure heís going to go down as the best golfer of this post Tiger era. Heís just a damn machine in Majors.

I still like Tiger at Pebble, but Iím not so sure that I will bet against Keopka in a major for a long time.
Post-Tiger era? Is that a typo? Must be because we are squarely IN the Tiger era still.

    Sorry sir!

In this ďpost dominate Tiger eraĒ

Thatís what I meant. I hope he wins another 10 majors but dang, he just isnít the Tiger of old. Heíll win every time he brings his A game, but he doesnít bring it often. Heís MUCH
MUCH better than me, but my game relates. I can post a low ďfor meĒ score if I avoid blowup holes. Most rounds I have a few.

Mine are 9ís, Tigers are doubles, but we both have them.

Itís still Tigers time, but he ainít the Tiger we saw 20 years ago. He can (obviously) still win, and win big. I hope Iím wrong, but I donít see him taking over again. I hope he Nickles and dimes his way into at least 18 majors. Heís my favorite golfer ever. Heís responsible for growing the game more than anyone, ever. But his game isnít dominate anymore. I wish it was, but itís not. There was a time when you and I knew heíd win before he even teeíd off. That era is gone. Heís still great but..... even though he can win anything, heís just not on top.

Still 1a or 1b all time. But the year isnít 2000 anymore, dangit.

Sorry, Koepka thread. I havenít totally figured him out. Heís great and the odds on favorite going into any major right now. I donít get why thatís the only time we see him, but heís fan-damn-tastic.

I wonít be shocked at all if he wins tomorrow. Heís just a beast in majors. Majors only so far but it can go either way.

This guy is awesome. I need to find out how much he's made just in majors. He is a beast. Hogan was'nt a personality guy and he did alright. Brooks is pretty special in my book. I am sure his contemporaries think so.

Given Brooks' history of hand/wrist problems, I can totally understand not grinding out a ton of reps on the range. Also, I don't really know how obsessive he is about his swing; maybe he thinks too much practice will turn him from someone who plays golf to someone who plays golf swing. And let's not act like that's a guaranteed path to success.

To me, Brooks can come across as not much caring a ton about golf when he's not playing golf, but he's always struck me as focused but having a good time when he's actually on the course. And that is more pleasant to me than a ton of golfers who might say all the right things about the game but look/sound/act miserable the whole time they're playing.
