It has been 2 long years since we have invaded Kinderlou Forest for gethering fun and games. GA / FL is in name only for tradition purposes. THPers from ANY STATE are welcome, and encouraged, to attend! The accommodations and course are both top notch as everybody that has experienced them will attest!
To recap some of awesome learnings (that I can remember) the previous Kinderlou events have provided:
For those that have attended previous Getherings, feel free to add some additional learnings in this thread.
Date: Stay 10/26, 10/27. Play 10/27, 10/28
Location: Kinderlou Forest in Valdosta, GA
Competition: Yeah, there will be some kind. TBD at a later date.
# of Participants: As many as we can cram in the condo(s)
Cost: $210 (based on FULL occupancy) per person for 16 people sleeping in beds. $110 staying in condo but not in a bed (only possible if we have over 16 attending).
Please post attendance interest in this thread. I will not need to collect any money until around the middle of September. Payment will be made to me via PayPal and I will have to pay the full amount to Kinderlou at least 30 days in advance of us getting there.

To recap some of awesome learnings (that I can remember) the previous Kinderlou events have provided:
- Pudge provided some valuable insight on women's softball players
- Cars parked 200 yards left of a 150 yard hole are not necessarily out of play
- Old coots > young bucks
- Steak and tots together are an unbeatable combination
- The pit behind our condo has an incredible strong ball magnet in it
- The small tables inside the bedrooms are sometimes placed in locations that can be dangerous and lead to tumbles to the ground
- The College Football during the Fall Getherings not only provides entertainment, but also heated debates. The adult beverages assist with those debates as well. 2 big games of note during this gethering weekend are Georgia - Florida and Clemson - Florida State
- It is ALWAYS a GREAT TIME!
