Hey all, is it a difficult task to have a club maker pull a shaft from one brand (Taylormade) to another (PXG) now that a lot of clubs now have adapter and such?

The act of pulling a TM adapter and installing a PXG one is not hard (with proper equipment, a shaft puller). However, they don't all have a uniform seated depth in the adapter, so the final length can vary a little as well as the length of the adapter itself, which might show the original scoring on the tip of the shaft if the ferrule isn't long enough.

Adapters can be expensive also.

That's a fear of mine... I just love these damn Oban shafts! I just can't afford to start ordering my clubs exactly as I want then from OEM. I did that with my irons and driver and theyre nice but boy oh boy did I drop some cash.
