What cigar did you smoke today?

While I feel like crap and hate being in the office I did have a nice surprise sitting on my desk. Two of my favorites.

I work in the family business - Director of Operations and Lead Systems Engineer. I actually bill over 40 hours every week with most weeks around 50 hours billable time. I start my day as early as 5 AM a lot of time and do work also after the kids go to bed. I am a morning work person so I get a ton of work done before 11 AM.

I'll be at a customer site Wednesday and more than likely bill 14 hours while there.

I actually bought the cigars - they just arrived when I was out of the office before Thanksgiving so it was a nice surprise getting into the office on Monday morning with 2 boxes of my favorite cigars sitting there.

Welcome back. The best part about cigars now versus 18 years ago is there are a ton of excellent sub $10 cigars on the market.

I'm finding that and super excited. Started off mild to medium since I will be enjoying these with my evening Laphroaig.

My younger daughter and her husband gifted me cigars for Christmas. She goes to a local cigar place near her, and loves to walk around picking out birthday and Christmas cigars for me (which she does strictly by look and aroma). I now have about 16 decent cigars (with bands!), including Arturo Fuente, Montecristo White, LGC, etc... to enjoy on the course. My other daughter sends me books! I am blessed with 2 amazing and thoughtful daughters!

I have found that gifted cigars are some of the best. Like golf, in between the ears can change the game or in this case the taste.

I was playing last year with my dad, brother in law and his father. I was dragging at the 9th hole from drinking a good bit the first 9. Lit up a cigar at the turn and it literally was like a shot of adrenaline. Not sure what kind it was but I was on fire after that and perked back up to shoot +1 over the last 9 in a two man scramble with my dad who plays once a year. Ended up with a 75 +3 for round for us. Special round which was made better with whatever that cigar was haha.

Cigars have the opposite effect on me. I literally can't play if I smoke one

Ending 2015 with one of my favorite cigars. Anejo 888.

Will probably close out the year with a Bolivar Gold Medal from 2002.

Bolivar double corona is the only cigar that's ever made me a little nauseous.

That's a strong fella.

I'm finishing off 2015 with an Acid Kuba Kuba that's smoking a bit rough. Must be a bad one. Oh well a bad cigar is better than none! And being able to sit outside in NJ in December in shorts is ok by me

That is my new favorite anejo. I haven't smoked a thing in 4 weeks due to pneumonia but this will be one of the first I enjoy when I get the dr clearance.

Is it windy? I find it really hard to smoke in windy conditions

10 mph or so. The wind doesn't bother me when enjoying cigars. It was a beautiful day despite the cold.
