So this was last night supper and I had it smothered in a white pork sausage gravy.
@c.a.eleric thinks it would be better with no gravy but some spicy sausage links and jelly for the biscuits.

Which way should should we go?

I do like the taste of sausage gravy, but it looks horrible on a plate...

It isn't going to win an award for best looking plate.

Country crock? That’s not butter

butter and honey on one biscuit, butter and some good strawberry jelly on the other.

so freaking good.

My wife says the same thing, and won't touch it. There is real butter available I just don't use it.

Give me the gravy every time!

Grits go on eggs, gravy on biscuits.

See brining grits into the discussion crosses into another realm.

Always biscuits and gravy. Always.

Butter or honey on the biscuits and skip the gravy and jelly/jam.

Once in a blue moon I go for the biscuits and gravy. But as a GRITS, I get pretty damn picky about my biscuits. My favorite is always just a bit of butter - and by butter, I mean butter.

Butter is always good with jelly, jam, preserves or honey.

But, give me some tomato gravy and some good, really spicy andouille for a change.

grits on eggs? that sounds awful.

Next you are going to tell me you prefer your tea unsweet.

Any tea is  The wife drinks hot tea, smells great, the task is horrible. Won't even go down the road of cold sun tea, no thank you.

Butter on all four halves, Strawberry jam on one half, Honey on another, gravy on halves 3 & 4, Eggs in middle as you present them here

i do like sweet tea. but regular tea has its place, and i probably drink it more often than sweet. sweet only a few times a year tops.
