My leopold GX-2 always struggles with finding target this time of year. Foggy, light mist or rain seem to prevent it from finding the right target. It's always reading trees or landscape behind the flag. I'm looking for a rangefinder that would hold up well and work in pacific northwest weather since I play all year round. I tried a friend's V4 shift and that seemed to work better but that was only for 1 hole. I really like the price point on the Precision NX7 pro but I read a small number of passing comments that it also struggles in similar conditions.

I really like the idea of the vibration reduction in the nikon coolshots but no idea about how it performs in those conditions either.
