It elevates pretty hard but with the right shaft I think that’s a good thing.

Nothing that would stop me from playing them.

Just reshafted my 5 iron tonight for an old friend to try since he can't seem to get his hands on one. Should be a lot of fun to see what he thinks.
Took him out on course tonight to hit the 5 iron. It’s already in his bag for the round tomorrow hahaha. I love what these irons can do, and how much they support a variety of golfers in the longer iron slot.

Comparative to other heads in a similar design, it’s amazing how small the top line is.

So, I got fit for a set of F9 OL irons just before I played in the Odyssey Experience. First time using was that weekend.

Having played now for the last few weeks and I will say I am thoroughly confident I made the right call with the OL. I am actually able to hit a consistent 5 iron and my length is getting better. I was worried about gapping with the scoring irons in how much distance would be available between the 9-AW. Surprisingly, I have found my iron gapping has been almost exactly the same as my regular length irons, just getting the extra distance due to the longer length.

My only complaint is I am not the biggest fan of my grips. I would like to change, but with the cobra connect sensors built in I have limited choices. Hoping to change the grips out to a different set soon as other options become available.

After my research, I'm suspecting I'll need something in that 50-52 range. Thanks for sharing :-)!

I debated this same issue. Ultimately, I reluctantly elected to forego the cobra connect system and put blue MCC+4 on my OL F9 set. Being that I play in scorching hot and humid Florida conditions, I really needed something that would allow me to maintain a solid grip on the club. With the stick grips, I was sometimes opening the club head during the swing or creating other issues with over pressure with my grip.
