Howdy! Just registered after lurking for the last year or so. Was on the HS golf team ~15 years back. Living walking distance from the home course, free range time, and cheap play made it pretty easy to pick up the sport. Have played sparingly ever since, but looking to pick it back up again.
Never upgraded my original clubs after picking up a set of Wilson Ultra TM Burner knockoffs at the MacDill BX back in '99. Added a few Vokey's and an original Anser last year to help the short game, and last week a used i25 driver on the other end. Currently debating what to do for iron sets. No idea on swing specs or distances on my gear anymore, and my mechanics are as rusty as the titanic, but I did pickup a Gigagolf P3 5 iron fitted to me (-1 length, +3 lie, midsize grip, firm shaft) for testing. Dispersal was much more consistent than I'm used to with the old department store set and distance was ~165 avg.
