When I got my FTB reshafted I had cobra give me non connect grips and then the sensors separately. i don't think I ever looked into the bag when they sent them back. Are they not screw ons that you can put into the tops of other clubs?

Im not sure what Cobra sends when you order the sensors separately, but when you have the stock set, they are integrated into the cobra connect grips.

In the short term, actually yes. I sort have turned over my bag this year when I didn't expect to because the F9 line just clicked so much better than my F7/F8s and consequently...I can't buy new F9s and replace my wedges. Oops.

I'm going to likely do the set gw at 49 - ol 56 and ol 60 ....but just choke down or something to fill that 49-56 gap for this month's rounds.

Cobra now offers MCC +4 and tour velvet as Cobra Connect grip options, as well as the Lamkin crossline cord for those who were looking for another cord option.

Question for the group - does anyone have favorable impressions of the SW versus any other specialty wedge?

I have the SW and like it a lot, but I don't use it for anything other than a full swing 110 yard club.

After a few more rounds playing with my 5-AW F9 OL irons, I have to say these irons are very consistent and the ONE length makes for any higher handicap player to easily hit the higher irons. I never hit a 5 iron before. In general, I always used a 5 hybrid. The issue I had with the 5 hybrid was my dispersion was very wide. I am getting very similar distance (not quite as much) as my old 5 hybrid, just with a much better disbursement.

I have also noticed that I get great height with my scoring irons. I am seeing a much higher trajectory from my 9 - AW than my previous irons. The ball is traveling a bit father (not much), but with the higher trajectory, the ball lands softer with more spin than my previous irons.

Has anyone cleaned their grips with warm soapy water? I'm curious how the sensors will hold up and if they are waterproof?

They are not waterproof. I played on a flood course in a torrential downpour last year and had to replace a bunch of sensors. They are, at best, water resistant. If you submerge them or get them substantially wet you will trash them.

Do the F9s come with a set of extra sensors for the rest of your bag like they did in last year's iron sets?
