Wow, a weak call to bounce Zion.

All of the ticky tack calls really are why I watch so little basketball.

Next year for Zion, that won't be called a foul on him.

Great defense for Duke at the end of that game. It's so much more encouraging to see that they can lock down a team on defense as compared to just outscoring another team.

Best defensive Duke team in the one-and-done era, for sure.

Coach K thinks he's better than that, apparently:

"He did a hell of a job, as good on the ball as we’ve had starting with Amaker, Hurley, Wojo, Duhon. He’s right there and tonight, maybe better.”

- K on Tre Jones.

#1 Kansas falls to Arizona St. didn’t see that one coming. KU just played sloppy the last 2 minutes.

WOO HOO!! GO DEVILS!!

The SEC made up some ground in the Kermit Davis Challenge last weekend:

12/22
Georgia 70
Georgia Tech 59

12/22
Wake Forest 64
3) Tennessee 83

12/22
Clemson 78
South Carolina 68

12/22
19) Kentucky 80
9) North Carolina 72

ACC now leads 10-6.

I think Kentucky's win is the only surprise in that group. Tech and Wake are not good teams and Clemson is better with Reed back. The North Carolina that showed up against Kentucky is more representative of that team than the one that played Gonzaga.

One more ACC/SEC clash this weekend, and it should be a good one:

16) Kentucky
Louisville

Roll Tide ya'll

Cats and Cards tomorrow. Not as fun without Rick but Louisville is a good team with a great coach. Kentucky looks better and closer to what folks expected but you never know in this one.

Cats shoot down Cards

16) Kentucky 71
Louisville 58

Gardner-Webb moves to 2-1 in the ACC standings, winning at Wake Forest 73-69.

Wake Forest sucks.

Cats are playing better. I would like for them to speed it up a bit but Cal is doing a good job with these kids. Louisville has a great young coach. He will get his fair share of wins in this series. Your Wolfpack have a great young coach too. He doesn't take any crap from K or Roy.

Can we laugh at the Pac-12 yet? Look at this brutal day they had yesterday.

Princeton won at Arizona State.

Liberty stomped UCLA in Pauley.

Santa Clara won at Washington State.

Seattle won at California.

Utah lost at home, too, but at least that was to a Top 10 team in Nevada.

That is some serious loses.

I'm an ASU fan, and I laugh at the PAC-12 every day. Lousy in football & basketball, but hey - they kick ass in Olympic sports! lol

Bruins fans want Alford out asap. Losing to Liberty at home...ouch!

Whoops. Embarrassed in The Pit by New Mexico this weekend, 85-58.
Seem to be a few teams embarrassed this weekend, kind aglad Auburn wasn't playing.

Hello, Florida State. At least that was at a Top 4 team. New Mexico was around 190 in the kenpom ratings at the time. Nevada losing at New Mexico like that would be like Wake Forest beating Duke by 27 tomorrow night.

Kansas may be in some trouble with Azubuike gone for the year. The Big 12 streak is in jeopardy.

Old school Big Four action tonight!

1) Duke at Wake Forest
12) Evil Empire at 15) NC State

Duke is looking a bit out of sorts in that first half. I expect a much better 2nd half and should win by 20.

On another note, was watching halftime highlights, Damn how does Baylor get such bright jerseys!!!!!!

Won by 22 :clapp:
