Easy question, how many different golf balls have you played this year and which one was your favorite?

I have played 7 different ones.

Snell MTB Red
TP5x
ProV1
Chrome Soft
Chrome Soft X
Srixon Q Star
Srixon Z Star

Chrome Soft X was my favorite ball this year

The Chromesoft X is my usual ball of choice, but I have had some Chromesoft in the bag that I have pulled out at times

The TP5X was played a couple of times when I found them at my home course

I've played primarily four different balls this year.
Top Flite Gamer Soft
Top Flite Gamer Tour
Kirkland Performance Plus (3 piece)
Chrome Soft

My current rounds are with the Chrome Soft and I truly love this ball. I would still consider using any of the other three, however, during any given round (and have all four in my bag currently).
 
3 - ProV1, Chrome Soft, and Chrome Soft X. I tested them all early in the season, and then stuck with the Chrome Soft X for the rest of the year. It checked the most boxes performance wise for me, and I'm also partial to the yellow/black truvis.

I play the odd ball I find just for kicks. Don't really rely too much on the results of those since I can't tell the condition of the ball but I will say I did try and like the Titleist Prov1x (unsure of the year).
 
Chromesoft and Q-Star tour were the main 2 I played. Also played a dozen k-sig 4 piece for a couple weeks to try out.

Q-Star tour is solid, but can’t beat the Truvis design (for me).

I really like the volvik at the start of the Season since I was concentrating on trying to hit the ball then trying to left my head up early to see where the ball went. Gave me more reassurance that I could find the ball with the bright matte orange.

Towards the end of the season I played mostly ProV1 and Bridgestone Tour XS. They held onto the green really well for me.

Are we counting golf balls that we may have found in the woods and threw it in the cart as an extra ball for whatever? If that's the case then 10+ different kinds, from ProV1 to Burner.

Only 5 that I can recall. I'm sure there are many, many other forgettable balls that I've found, played for a hole or two, and subsequently lost.
