How many wedges do you play?

Four - Cleveland smart sole 2.0 c wedge, 46 sm6, 54 sm5, Cleveland smart sole 2.0 s wedge

Count me in with 4. I currently use the Nike Covert 2.0 PW at 44 degrees and the others are Titleist 50, 56, and 60. My set also came with an "A" wedge at 48 degrees that has been in and out of the bag at times. I swap the 50 for a 52 and leave a 3 hybrid out when going that route. Very rarely do I make a "full" swing with anything over the PW.

PW, 50, 54, 58 in one set
PW 52, 56, 60 in the other both gapped to match the associated PW/iron set.

Two set wedges, PW & AW, then a 56 & 60

I only have two that I consider as "wedges" in the modern sense, meaning that they are used most of the time for less than full shots. The PW and AW from my set are full swing clubs which are only used rarely for short game, no different from the 8I or 9I.

My 51° AP-2 GW (this is my utility wedge, used for at least 75% of my greenside work) and my 56° CG-15 SW are my only true wedges.

4 including my set PW... 47°, 52°, 56° and 60°

I play 4, my 45° pitching wedge, my 50° A-wedge, my 54° sand wedge, and a 59° lob wedge. Mostly use my 54° around the greens.

PW @ 47, AW @ 50, SW @ 54, and LW @ 58

I'll use them all with full swings, but around the green I typically just stick to the shorter 3.

Crappy cavity back 45* PW that came with the set and forged maltby's 50*, 54*, 58*

Why would your set 45*pw be any more crappy than your set 41* (or whatever degree) 9iron?

I was thinking the exact same thing... :confused2:

Eventually I will be getting rid of them, but I guess you would be right. Mostly I notice the way too high launching shaft in a PW then I do in a 9iron.

4.....PW/AW/SW/LW
