I just feel jealous you've already got 4 rounds of golf in vs my zero.

I just thought it odd that you said you played 18 when, in reality, you played 17.

I was always taught that its poor etiquette to leave the green before everyone is done putting. Sort of along the lines of extending a hand to shake after the round. I know some folks don't care about that kind of stuff, but some of us think etiquette is an integral part of the game.

I have always been taught it is poor etiquette to waste time but to each their own. I have never had a single person complain about my courtesy, largely because when on the green and waiting my turn I am oft repairing ballmarks, when on tee boxes waiting I am often cleaning up the broken tees, filling divots on par 3s, and am never outside the group setting. I have certainly been in groups that have let OTHERS know their behavior was inappropriate and, in fact, with randoms it is not every time but it is frequent for me to say things along the lines of "I don't always know all the group expectations so if I get out of line, let me know" including sight lines...for example, in my group we prefer to have someone behind the guy teeing off to help see the ball. Per this website, I have learned some people hate that. So I don't do it in other groups, but do still attempt to track everyones ball off the club. So feel free to find me rude if you wish but you are in the minority of people I have ever encountered. In fact, unless they hide it REALLY well, you are in a camp of one.

I think I'm 45 for 45. Not sure why they didn't change this rule a long time ago. There's really no reason to pull it.

Why do you have to get into it with every single member, and find some way to be rude? This is my last and final warning to you to learn to get along with people. And don't bother sending me a PM asking what I mean, you know, we have gone round and round enough times, so I won't respond.

After watching the tournament this weekend, I think I seen 10 putts/chips that didn't have a chance that hit it and went in. I can remember 40 putts I've hit that hit the hole with speed that might have dropped.

For more than a hundred years it was not a Rule. But 50 years ago it became a Rule, and now it has reverted back to no longer being a Rule.
