    Haha.

I need to be better about announcing bad strikes.

Frankly, I don't know why I do it. No one really cares.

And you're so right: Shots that were previously in someone's pool are magically in the far rough instead.

I've been really impressed with how great it performs in heel side shots. I've had drivers that did very well on the toe bit I've never had something that performed as well on the heel.

My typical miss with the EF is hitting it toward the heel but youd never know it based on the results being so close to good center contact.

Woooo boy. Im still fighting swing flaws that cause a wicked slice, but I hit one today that just wasnt fair. Beautiful little fade, went for miles. No idea exactly how long it was but, it was well over 250.

    I love this driver.

So I played 18 today. Took my kiddo out to play for one of her bday presents and I didn't hit a drive less than 285. Longest was 300. I haven't seen these distances consistently in a very long time. I used to get lucky and roll one out to 290-300 every once in awhile but average was 250-270. I'm in love with this driver.

This has unseated the F9 and the SZ. Going to be one awesome throwdown after Injected Speed!

Now need to try the g410 lst and + and further complicate things.

How has the weight in the heel affected your ball flight and the sound at impact?

Still sounds great here, unlike the SZ. For flight, its just countering the slightly neutral to open face this 9 has.

    I can virtually guarantee that.

I've got three front weights, and three rear weights and have been playing around with them a lot this week.

The heavier the weights I put in the more metallic the pitch gets. The heavier front weights in particular seem to have the biggest effect.

With the stock weights, the sounds is *almost* okay. But since I'm playing it at 44.5" I had trouble finding the middle of the clubface without the extra weight.

Now I think I need to figure out how much is too much hot melt.

Going to be fun to see the EF in action tomorrow, you being so long and still on legal real estate is a dangerous combo

Good to know. If I can get the sound of the stock weights, with the performance of the heavier ones Id be happy (enough) though

    Haha.

It's not that I'm hitting it any longer overall (so far at least).

It's just that the averages are trending a lot closer to the top of my distance range.

I'm more excited by the fact that many more balls are playable vs bouncing off of lanais, roofs, and driveways.

Put a Fuji in the SZ to try out and it feels great! Interested to see how this plays on course....
