Truth! I had my best round with my Pros last night and they are so addicting to hit. We had some very tough wind conditions yesterday and the ability to flight them was really helpful throughout the 9 and provided a nice, piercing flight. I have my match for my leagues Match Play Championship tomorrow night and hoping I can keep that performance up.

There is maybe a 5% chance my new Apex irons arrive tomorrow.

Really itching to get my hands on them.

I have great memories of the 6i off grass during a recent fitting........

Hope so. Edwin Watts (saved a LOT by not ordering through True Spec btw).

May have to have some specs checked (were ordered de-lofted a bit).

Can't wait. These just have got to be more forgiving than the AP2. Trackman numbers were very compelling.

Thatís all dependent on you. The clubs are great but they still need an okay swing to make magic happen. Put a good swing on them and theyíll take care of you - no doubt

Good day here as well. Started in rain, ended round in 2 club wind. I can’t believe how well I played. The forgiveness is a definite and combined with renewed confidence, it made the round extremely enjoyable. I have never been able to ‘flight’ ball very well, and I did this better than ever (for me). All I can say is that anyone looking for new clubs should take the Apex for a test run. As I said before, new clubs sexy as heck!

Did you go with the standard or the pro? I'm sure you've previously stated. How would you compare the feel to the ap2?

I donít think Iíve ever felt an iron that, when struck well, feels as good as these do. Only thing that I believe would feel better would be a pure struck blade iron.

    I went with the standard.

The AP2 are just better than I'll ever be.

If I can ever get my HC to something respectable I'll reevaluate a more compact iron profile again.

As far as feel goes: I've always found the AP2 to be great on flushed shots. Also love the ball flight on a solid center hit.

They are also very informative on bad strikes. I always know where the miss is.

I haven't yet gotten my Apex irons so can only say that during the fitting they were great on well struck shots and the feedback was there on misses. But the feeling was maybe a bit muted compared to the AP2.
