I'm with you. Not one, but two events I can drive to? Might be able to shoot for three events this year, which would be outstanding.

I am definitely in what would be considered Upstate NY way up here in the boonies. Awesome to see that something is coming up around Upstate NY. Will definitely be keeping tabs about any information on this one!
 
Team based upstate NY event, I love this. I will do everything I can to get into this.
 
I'm throwing Turning Stone out there because that's pretty up there for top choice. And it's my wedding that week, will be out of the country, so you guys enjoy. I'm sure it'd be a lot of fun.

I was leaning towards that as well, but it could be in a number of places. Guessing is just a waste of time lol.
 
It's not 3 hours if Scarnici is driving. Count me in if non-NYrs allowed!

Unless they suddenly changed their tune, Turning Stone wasn't willing to work with THP in having an event. If they did, that would be pretty awesome though.

Judging by JB's post in the Turning Stone thread a while back, I'm thinking this is unlikely.

I was thinking Niagara Casino area, could be right in Rochester, Buffalo area, Finger Lakes.....who knows
 
I keep looking at the possible venues...

for some reason, I would love to have it in the Lake placid area, it sounds like fun.
turning stone looks incredible.
Saratoga National's practice facility would be awesome filled with all these THPers.
I'd love to visit some friends in Western NY

I wnat in this one
 
My guess is Saratoga, but I've yet to guess right in three years on THP, so take that for what it's worth.

So "Upstate" NY,geographically, is pretty much all of NY State(?).

Being from Long Island, I guess I'm "downstate" lol. Depending on when and where...this could possibly be my first THP event....at least my chances might be better getting into this than the regional rivalry.

Most of my NYC family refer to anything north of the George Washington Bridge as "Canada."
 
I could be wrong but I thought JB said that Turning Stone definitely wanted the event, but the timing didn't work?
