Did your putting improve after making the change ?
You are correct about the weight. I was having trouble squaring the face and was missing putts to the right, changing to the Winn grip pretty much cured that.

Yes, the standard model fits well and not too heavy.

The large Palmbird is very heavy and it does lock you in with more width - but there goes your swingweight to the C region, which many think affects distance control. I used the Large all winter/spring/summer - and was inconsistent on longer putts - some were great, others were 10 feet past the hole. Recently went to the standard Palmbird - got swingweight to D9 on a Directed Force and putts with more balance. Some like 154g or so - but not for me. I went to the standard model and left hand low.

Just picked up an Evnroll ER8 with the 115g Gravity Grip - has a metal rod down the grip on the underside of the grip - about D8 swingweight - very nice -

Both grips have me paying more attention to keeping my front wrist square a bit longer as putter approaches ball and immediately after.

The original in the standard size. I didn’t like the extra large ones because they tend to separate the hands a little much IMO

Did you happen to try both the 1.3 and 1.6 on the same putter ? I am curious is you noticed the difference in either the putter's dead weight or swing weight ?
Right now I now my preference is for the wider diameter jumbo/oversize grips, and within that group am trying different weight grips.

I did did notice a difference. I am now using the 1.6 on my Nike Drone and I use the 1.3 on my Nike #2 blade. Preferring the 1.3 and blade right now. The 1.6 fells like it takes my hands completely out of the putt but then I also loose some ‘feel’.

As per my OP, I've been playing the SNSR 140CC, Pure Oversize, and Iomic Absolute Jumbo. Each of these models is approximately 125 gram grip weight.
Now to try some lighter weight oversize grips I've purchased and installed Winn 1.6 (98 grams) , Winn 1.32 (70 grams) , and a Garsen Max (60 grams).
One of the performance factors I've noticed about the 125 gram grips is that all that weight seems to help avoid a yippy/twitchy swing of the putter.
I am interested to try out and learn if the two new Winn's (wide diameter) and the Garsen (unique v-shaped top side promoting palms up hand position) will also help avoid yips, or if that benefit is best found with heavier weight grips.
Fortunately I have several putters of the same head weight and length, so I can try these grips side-by-side during one practice session. I may also play some rounds of golf carrying two putters, trying one grip for the front side, a different grip for the back side.

Mid slim 2.0 or 3.0. Maybe the occasional pistolero grip. Believe it or not, odyssey has a nice jumbo size grip they put on some of the old white hot series. Fits in hand nicely. But,I’m a SS guy.

I have used and like the 3.0 grip. Do you still have the 5.0?

Nevermind. I found them for $5 @ Golfworks. Just might try one.

Of the over sized grips I am currently looking at, the Garsen brand is one which had some THP interest 4 years ago. Here is the thread :
