I resolve to actually work on my putting this year instead of just complaining it's what's holding back my game.

What golf resolutions are you making for the New Year?

Mine are to get in better shape and Practice the short game at least once a week.

Actually figure out how to play within 100yards.

Lose weight, get more consistent and play with a lot of THPers!

Really focus on getting dialed in short game. Want to spend a lot of my practice time working on putting, chipping and approach shots with wedges.

2019 resolutions:
I need to get in dedicated practice per month at the home course driving range.
Break 90 on a consistent basis.
Have fun on the golf course: it is just a game ya know!

Same as last year: Average under 90, birdie every hole on my home course at least once. (Didn't do either this year or last)

Find time to play
Work on short game

Get into better shape.
Play more outdoor rounds than 2018's 72 holes.
Play the swing I have. It ain't perfect or even pretty, but it's good enough and consistent enough that I should score better if I trust it.

Be more consistent and accurate off the tee.

Get under a 15 handicap.

Improve focus (concentration) while playing a round of golf.

Play more, and when I do get to play try to not let score dictate how much fun I have.

I resolve to play 1 new course this year. Should be an easy resolution to keep.

Get my handicap down into single digits!

To keep feeling the joy of the Grandaddy and to review my gear.

Find the center of the face more consistently.

Improve short game from 50-100 yds.

1. More golf with my buddies...whether they means locally...or gatherings or trips. Already off to a great start with a few trips planned

2. Find the swing again.

3. Have fun

According to doctor if everything goes right I should be 100 percent with my neck in 6 weeks the. It’s going to be all the golf I can get

1)stop pretending to be a 14
2)take time off and let your damn body heal
3)maybe try to beat me this year

Pace myself better to make it through the year injury free and achieve, and maintain, a sub-5 handicap.

I am going to see a pro to lose the pull hook.

Find something resembling a consistent driver swing.

1) Play more

2) get my wife to play again on a regular basis

3) practice more with a purpose

4) get feedback from a professional

5) Enjoy it all!

1. Get my handicap back into single digits
2. If #1 happens, then shoot an even par round at my home course
