I am making a list of golf movies. Pick which three (in order) you like best.

1. Happy Gilmore
2. Tin Cup
3. Caddyshack
4. Bagger Vance
5. The Greatest Game Ever Played
6. Tommy's Honor
7. The Short Game
8. Seven Days in Utopia
9. Bobby Jones
10. Dead Solid Perfect

Or is it some other one than I haven't listed?

Bobby Jones
BaggerVance
Tin Cup

I've seen most on the list, and like them all, but my vote has to go Caddyshack, followed by Tin Cup, then The Greatest Game Ever Played.

In order of most favorite.....Greatest Game, Tin Cup and Bagger Vance.

I would go Tin cup, bagger vance and caddy shack. I need to watch some of the others.

Seven days in Utopia is a decent movie not listed.

Bagger Vance, Tin Cup, 7 Days in Utopia. My third spot was pretty much a tie between several movies. On another (blasphemous) note: I don't get Caddyshack.

Anyone ever seen Follow the Sun? It has Glenn Ford and Anne Baxter in it. Way before my time, but I was reading about Ben Hogan and the article mentioned it. Guess Caddyshack 2 and Whose your Caddy are out?! Haha! If Die Hard can be considered a Christmas movie, can Goldfinger be considered a golf movie?

Greatest Game
Bagger Vance
Seven Days

They made a “Dead Solid Perfect “ movie ? I loved that book (my all time favorite golf novel - although I realize it’s about as far from politically correct as you can get; not sure if it has aged well)

I love the camera work in “The greatest game ever played”. Some really cool ideas on how to show what the players saw or focused on. (Also another great book!)

Caddy shack
Dead Solid Perfect
Bagger Vance

The movie Sideways has one of my favorite golf scenes. Clearly not a golf movie but a great scene when the group behind hits into them.

Dead Solid Perfect is good. Cannot find it anywhere to stream.

I would have to say that when it comes to movies about golf, I tend to lean to the meaningful and not the slapstick. Seven Days in Utopia was so much more than Golf. It was life and how to deal with everyday struggles. Bagger Vance- once again, so much more.....my o2 and ranking

1. Bagger Vance
2. The Greatest Game Ever Played
3. Seven Days in Utopia
4. Tin Cup
5. Tommy's Honor
6. Bobby Jones
7. Happy Gilmore
8. Caddyshack
9. The Short Game

Caddyshack is comedy. Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield and others provide tons of scenes to give you lots of laughs.

Caddyshack
Tin Cup
Happy Gilmour

Those are the only 3 I've seen on the list.
