Winn grips....lite or excel?

I used to play GP new decade mc grips but now as i am getting older i prefer the feel of softer grips. I recently regripped two drivers that i had shortened to 44.5" with the winnlite soft to get a little swingweight back and these feel great! At 25 grams would these be ok to use on irons as well or should i go to a heavier(but still light) excel soft grip at 46g? Not sure how the lighter, softer grip will affect my irons but i am loving the feel vs. the multicompounds. Probably due mostly to the fact that i prefer NOT using a glove. Thanks for the help!

I would say you can use what you prefer, but when changing weight in grips, be careful of swing weight.

I would stick with the reg Winn grips, not the Lite for your irons....
